Social jetlag

In the video about circadian rhythms, we explained social jetlag. It’s the mismatch between you’re biological and social clock. To avoid this social jetlag, you can do a few things. We offer you two interventions, the night- and the morning intervention:

 

Night Intervention

  • Dim home lightning
  • Wear blue-light blocking glasses
    In this way, you will not inhibit your production of melatonin

 

Morning intervention

  • Sleep with open curtains to increase your cortisol
  • Light up the room
  • Increase morning light levels
