If you wish to join our trainers and create your own course, you must get acquainted with and accept Conditions for trainers.

All details related to the processing and storage of personal data of users are presented in the Privacy Policy. Please read it HERE.

If you will use ActaUni to increase the knowledge and skills of your employees through ActaUni services for companies, contact us at office@idein.eu.

1. Account creation

Some features of the platform require you to be a registered user. Once you have registered, store your login details in a safe place. You are responsible for all actions taken by your account.  If you suspect someone else is using your account, let us know immediately:

For Belgium: carve@kuleuven.be
For Bulgaria: office@idein.eu

Creating an account will be necessary for some of the functionalities of the platform, including the purchase and participation in some of the courses, as well as for the creation of a new course. When setting up and updating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address.

You are solely responsible for your account and all actions taken under it, including damages (to us or any other party) caused by someone using your account without your permission. Be careful, safely store and do not share login information in your account. Do not transfer your account to another person and do not use someone else’s account. Idein EOOD will not interfere in disputes between individual users or trainers who have shared identification data to log in to an account.

A forgotten password and / or recovery of access to an account will only be made against the provision of sufficient information proving the ownership of an account.

Let us know immediately if you find out that someone else is using and / or has used your account without permission, or if you suspect any other security breach. Contact our team at office@idein.eu.

According to our Terms and conditions for trainers you may be asked to verify your identity before submitting a course for publication in ActaUni. You can delete your account at any time by contacting our team at office@idein.eu.

2. Enrolling in a course and access for life

Once you sign up for a course, you get access to it for life, unless we need to deactivate it for legal or other reasons.

According to our Terms and conditions for trainers, when a trainer publishes a course in ActaUni, he grants ActaUni the right to offer this course to potential learners, with all the resulting rights to use the training materials.

As an individual user, regardless of whether you sign up for a paid or free course, you get the right to use it, but not the right to resell it, incl. and by sharing your account information with another person or illegally downloading and sharing it on other sites.

As an individual user, you have the right to access and use the study materials only for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes, in accordance with these terms and any conditions or restrictions associated with a particular course. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, modify, adapt, edit, transfer rights or use any training course unless we expressly give you permission to do so, by written consent, signed by an authorized representative of Idein EOOD. If you wish to use materials developed by our team, please contact us by e-mail office@idein.eu.

The right to use a course is for life. However, we reserve the right to revoke access at any time and without notice if we are required to deactivate a course for reasons of a legal or other nature, such as a complaint of copyright infringement or if we find that it violates our Safety Policy.

3. Payments and refunds of payments already made

Tuition is paid in one of the valid ways offered in the platform. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the training, within 30 (thirty) working days Idein EOOD will refund your money or, if you wish, will offer you the opportunity to participate in another training/s of the same value.

3.1 Prices

The prices of the trainings in ActaUni are published in the platform. The cost of training (course) published by a trainer is determined according to the requirements of Terms and conditions for trainers.

The price of a training for individual users is the price at the time you complete the purchase of the training (when registering the payment).

3.2 Payments

You have the opportunity to pay the cost of a course in one of the following ways:

  • By debit / credit card
  • Through PayPal
  • By bank transfer – please contact us at office@idein.eu for more details.

When you make a purchase, you agree to use only a valid and authorized payment method. If your payment is unsuccessful, but you still get access to the course for which you have signed up, you agree to pay us the relevant fees within 30 (thirty) days after receiving notification from us. We reserve the right to deny access to any course for which we have not received the relevant payment.

3.3 Reimbursement of payments made

Within 30 (thirty) days after payment, you can request a refund without any explanation.

You can request a refund of an already paid amount in the form of a loan for other courses available from our platform.

Requests for refunds after the 30-day period will not be accepted. However, if a course you purchased earlier is deactivated for legal or other reasons, you are still entitled to a refund after this 30-day period.

To request a refund, contact our team at office@idein.eu.

4. Course content and rules of conduct

You may use ActaUni only for purposes that do not violate legal or other regulations. You are responsible for the content you post on the platform. You should account for the comments, questions, posts, courses and any other content you post on the platform with Trust and safety policy, the applicable Bulgarian legislation and by respecting the intellectual property rights of third parties. We may block your account in case of repeated and / or serious violations! If you believe that someone is infringing your copyright through our platform, please let us know immediately.

You use the platform and comply your behaviour in it with the applicable Bulgarian legislation and regulations, as well as with these Terms.

If you are an individual user, the platform allows you to ask questions to the lecturers of the courses in which you are enrolled, as well as to publish feedback about them. For certain courses, the trainer may invite you to submit content such as homework or completed tests. Do not post or send anything that is not your property.

If you are a trainer, you can build courses on the platform and communicate with trainees enrolled in your courses. In both cases, you must comply with the law and respect the rights of others: you may not publish a course, question, answer, review, or any other content that violates applicable Bulgarian laws and / or regulations. You are solely responsible for each course, content and action on the platform and its implications. Make sure you understand all the restrictions on copyright and related rights described in Conditions for trainers before posting a course in ActaUni.

If we are notified that your course or content infringes the law or the rights of others (for example, if it is found to infringe intellectual property rights, damage the image of other participants, or an illegal activity is established), if we find that your content or behaviour violates ours Safety guidelines or if we believe your content or behaviour is illegal, inappropriate, or unacceptable (for example, if you impersonate someone else), we may remove your content from our platform. Ideain EOOD in its ActaUni platform complies with the laws on copyright and related rights and the applicable Bulgarian legislation.

If any of our trainers have posted a course that infringes your copyright or trademark rights, please notify us immediately by sending us an email to office@idein.eu.

5. Rights of Idein EOOD through ActaUni on the published content

You retain ownership of the content you post on our platform, including your courses. We are allowed to share this content with anyone, incl. through the media, incl. to promote it through advertising on other websites.

The content you publish as a learner or trainer (including courses) remains yours. By publishing a course or other content, you allow Idein EOOD through ActaUni to reuse or share such, but you do not lose ownership of the content. If you are a trainer, make sure you understand the guidelines described in Rules and conditions for trainers.

When you post content, comments, questions, feedback, and when you send us ideas and suggestions for new features or improvements, you authorize us to use and share that content, distribute and promote it on other platforms and in other media, and make modifications or edits in it, if we deem it necessary.

6. Responsibility for using ActaUni

Anyone can use the ActaUni platform to create and publish courses, and we enable trainers and learners to interact. Like other platforms where people can post content and interact, some things can go wrong, and in that sense you use ActaUni at your own risk.

The work model of the platform is such that we do not review or edit the courses and we are not able to determine the legality of the content of the course, published by a trainer outside our team. All courses developed by our own and/or hired by Idein EOOD trainers will be specially marked as such!

We do not exercise editorial control over the courses that will be offered on the platform by other trainers outside our team and we do not guarantee in any way the reliability, validity, accuracy or veracity of the information. If you enrol in such a course, you accept and use any information provided by a trainer at your own risk.

This also applies to all courses related to health, well-being and exercise. You assess the inherent risks to your physical and mental health and take full responsibility for the choices you make before, during and after enrolling in such a course.

When contacting your trainer directly, be careful about the type of personal information you provide. Although we limit the types of information that trainers may require from learners, we do not control what learners and teachers do with the information they receive from other users of the platform. For your own safety, do not share your email or other personal information about you!

We do not hire the external trainers who use our platform to publish their own trainings, nor are we responsible for any interaction between them and the learners. We are also not responsible for disputes, claims, losses, injuries (including emotional) or damages of any kind that may arise as a result of the relationship between learners and trainers.

When you use the platform, you will see links to other sites that we do not own or manage. Idein EOOD is not responsible for content from third party sites, including the collection of information about you by them. Carefully read their privacy policy and terms.

7. Other terms

These terms are the same as any other contract and contain important legal clauses that protect us from countless situations that may occur. They also clarify the legal relationship between us and you.

7.1. Binding agreement

By registering, accessing or using the platform, you enter into a legally binding contract with us. In the event that you do not agree to these Terms, do not register, log in or otherwise use our Platform.

If you register as a trainer who accepts these terms and uses our services on behalf of a company, organization or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so.

Any version of these terms in a language other than Bulgarian / Flemish is provided for convenience and you understand and agree that the Bulgarian / Flemish language will prevail in the event of a conflict.

These terms and conditions (including all agreements and policies related to them) constitute the entire Agreement between you and us (incl. Terms and conditions for trainers).

7.2 Disclaimer

It may happen that the platform does not work due to planned maintenance or because something related to the site does not work. It may also happen that one of the trainers who posted a course on the platform made misleading statements in it. There may be a situation in which we will encounter a security problem. These are just examples.

You agree that you will not take action against us in any of these cases where things are beyond our control or are of a technical nature beyond our control.

We may decide to stop providing certain features of the platform at any time without due explanation. Under no circumstances are we liable for any damages due to such interruptions or lack of certain functionality.

We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by events beyond our control, such as declaring war, terrorist attacks or sabotage; natural disaster; electrical, internet or telecommunication interruptions; or government restrictions.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

You fully accept at your own risk the possibility of suffering damage or loss as a result of your participation in trainings published on our platform by trainers external to our team, incl. and not to seek compensation from us in such cases. For example, if you enrol in a yoga class and get injured.

7.4 Applicable law and jurisdiction

Wherever “ActaUni” is mentioned in these terms and conditions, this refers to the property of IDEIN EOOD, with which you contract.

If you are a learner located in Bulgaria or if you have access to our platform as a trainer, your relationship with IDEIN EOOD is governed by the applicable legislation of Bulgaria and these Terms of Use.

If you are a learner located in Belgium, your relationship is governed by the applicable legislation of Belgium and these Terms of Use.

If you are a learner located outside Bulgaria or Belgium or if you have access to our platform as a trainer, you enter into a contract with IDEIN EOOD and these relationships are governed by the applicable legislation of Bulgaria and these Terms.

7.5 Legal actions and notices

No action, whatever the form, arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use may be brought by either party more than one (1) year after the cause of action arises, except where such limitation cannot be imposed by law.

Any notice or other communication that is made must be in writing and sent by email (on our part to the email associated with your account, and on your part to office@idein.eu).

7.6 Relations between the parties

Both parties agree that there is no joint venture, partnership, employment, contractor or other binding relationship between us other than those set forth in these Terms of Use.

8. Update of these terms and conditions

We reserve the right to periodically update these Terms and Conditions to reflect emerging new realities, such as new functionality and / or service.

Idein EOOD reserves the right to unilaterally change these Terms at any time. In the event of a substantial change, you will be notified either by email notification sent to the email address specified in your account, or by a message posted at a prominent place on the Platform.

The changes take effect on the day of their publication, unless otherwise stated.

Using the platform after the changes take effect means that you agree with them and accept them. The updated Terms of Use supersede all previous ones.
